We have fitting technicians throughout Australia and New Zealand that will come to your home or place of business to manufacture the earplugs.

In recognition of all the issues regarding how well hearing protection works, electronic or non-electronic, plugs or muffs, E.A.R., Inc. has improvised the world’s first FREE online FIT TEST that can help determine if the choice of hearing product is working properly.

Please note this test is based on providing a client with REFERENCE TONES for a number of frequencies, much like a standard hearing test and recording the differences when the selected product is worn. E.A.R., Inc. has also provided a FREE QUICK CHECK using broadband sound in addition to familiar environmental sounds to determine intensity differences. Of particular importance, this test is NOT the same as having your results arrive from a certified clinic or laboratory environment, but is highly informative in demonstrating shifts caused by wearing selected products. Should clients have any question about fit or performance they should always consult a certified hearing healthcare professional located in their area.

E.A.R., Inc. recommends doing this test periodically to be on the safe side of product performance, since many products on the market change due to shrinkage or the ear may change due to weight loss or growth.
