The ZEM's patented design uses the mechanical energy of sound waves (not electronics) to minimize sound before it reaches the human ear. The science behind its design integrates complex principles of sound physics and engineering that world-renowned Professor of Neuroscience, Dr. Jozef Zwislocki, has developed and perfected.

While conventional hearing protection like ear plugs and ear muffs attempt to block sound from entering the ear, the ZEM directs sound away from the ears. The ZEM chambers effectively act as a vacuum, pulling sound away from the ears.

Proprietary sound dampening material inside the chamber filters and cancels sound waves. The ZEM technology uses the physics of wave energy to reduce sound.
