The Combat Arms (Indoor/Outdoor) earplugs were specially developed for the armed forces and law enforcement. Their patented designed allows the user to hear low-level sounds critical to mission safety such as conversation, footsteps, rifle bolts and approaching threats. When needed, the plugs "filter" reacts to provide instant protection from high-level noises like weapons fire and explosions. It's that easy and that quick.

Insert the Yellow End:
This end features a nonlinear acoustical design with a calibrated filter within its end. This allows most low level sounds to be heard clearly during use. When a loud impulse noise such as weapons fire or explosives occur, the filter react instantly and suppresses the noise to a safer level. The chance of permanent hearing damage or disorientation from explosions is greatly reduced or eliminated.

Insert the Green End:
This end provides steady protection with an NRR of 22dB. It is ideal for constant high-level sound limits (85dB and above) such as aircraft, watercraft, armored vechiles or machinery. In this position, the plug provides excellent protection against noise, and will limit speech and other ambient sounds that the yellow end will allow.
